Curriculum Mapping
General Information:
Curriculum mapping is a procedure followed by all teachers at James Campbell High School for review of the operational curriculum. We use an electronic database that includes key components of the curriculum, mainly, content, skills, assessments and essential questions.
Each teacher enters what is actually taught in his/her course during the school year. This procedure allows curriculum to be examined, reviewed and revised throughout the year. Curriculum is a ‘work-in’progress’ and is always being updated and revised.
At this school site, we use the Performance Pathways/TechPath curriculum mapping tool. This curriculum mapping tool allows the staff to create, map and share a standards-based curriculum.
